Can you imagine a world without human interaction? Each of us on our own island?

We live in an era where high percentages of PEOPLE experience burnout and loneliness, characterized by isolation.

At the same time, LIFE is changing very quickly while the creation of public spaces is quite slow. Plus, it is rarely considered as an ally of a society that is in continuous change.

Moreover, these SPACES are often outdated, abandoned or unused, since they do not correspond to the needs of the users.

In this context, LiPS believes that the SENCE OF COMMUNITY is an essential element of quality of life for each human being.

We aim to bring diverse people TOGETHER through L.SCAPE, as an alternative view to the public space around us not only as USER, but also as DESIGNER, BUILDER and TRANSFORMER. After all, who knows the needs of an area and its community better than those who live in it?

When you put these successive participatory actions in a continuous loop, it results in series of “happy happenings”. While sharing and creating ideas, you meet your neighbors and experience the transformation process of a SHARED SPACE with a COMMON OWNERSHIP.

As building blocks we focus on everyday elements (ex. pallets, boards, tires, beer boxes...), which we give a second - third - fourth... life. They can be combined in many shapes and create a sustainable and flexible space. Imagine different scenographies as an elongated skyline, a mosaic carpet, or a tribune that hosts diverse events, such as BBQs, listening or watching a performance, or even enjoying the sunset together. The result is ecological and beautiful spaces.

We all can be a “COMMUNITY WARRIOR” and fight for a healthy and attractive environment next to our home. We aim to improve the community spirit by triggering social interactions while introducing spatial possibilities that - without any doubt - break the dreaded isolation.

L.SCAPE is not about a fixed and stable space. While communities are growing and changing in time, space reflects these transitions. Since we will never stop thinking and being creative, our neighborhood will never stop transitioning according to the needs of the people each time.
